Souhaila presented on the role of translanguaging and trans-semiotising in supporting multilingual children grappling with uncertainty as they engage in a scientific practice that is often watered down for multilingual children and lower elementary children - i.e., planning an investigation.

We presented our work exploring a teacher's experiences and tensions in addressing epistemic and relational goals when engaging students in science practice.
